COMMON MEASURING INSTRUMENTS:
Ammeter: Measures the value of current flowing in th circuit. The resistance of ammeter is small ans it is used in series with the circuit.
Voltmeter: Measures the potential difference between two points in the circuit. Its resistance is high and it is used in parallel with the resistance wire.
